My Learning Object

ToonDoo: A Comic Strip Generator! 

For my Learning Object, I chose to use the program ToonDoo to create a comic about bullying. Bullying is a topic covered in the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. This program was extremely user friendly, and allowed me to quickly create this comic using the characters, scenes and props available. However, the program also allows the user to create a character if they cannot find one they are looking for. This program is very similar to the program Bitstrips which also allows the user to create a comic strip. Both programs are user friendly and would be easily integrated into the classroom setting. As a future teacher, I can definitely see myself incorporating either one of these programs into my lessons. It would be a great way for students to express their creatively, while allowing me to evaluate their ability to write, summarize, and understand information. Check out one of these two programs the next time you are in need for some creative edge in the classroom!
